Our products are all carefully designed, and hand crafted in northwest Alabama. “Made in America” is a regulated term and is supposed to mean 100% of your ingredients also come from America. At Spero we are very careful to use only American grown ingredients when at all possible. However, Shea Butter is only grown and harvested in various countries in Africa; the vast majority of Mango Butter comes from India, etc. Therefore, while we take great care to be American made we do not use the term.

Orders placed before 4 pm CST get packaged with care and are usually shipped the next business day.

We ship more than 90% of orders the next business day. How soon you receive your package will depend on the USPS system. Under normal circumstances you should receive your package within one week of ordering.

For handcrafted soaps like ours, a raised, well draining soap dish works best so as to not allow it to sit in water. Ensure it dries between uses to prolong its life. For storage of soaps not currently in use, store in a cool, dry place. Never store handmade soap in plastic of any kind! Our natural sops retain their natural glycerine and extra oils and are best used within a year of purchase.

While all of our products are created to be gentle and restorative, we are completely transparent with our ingredients so you and your health care provider can make an informed decision.

Our skincare is made without synthetic preservatives, so the average shelf life is around 6 months for most products. To lengthen their shelf life- for long term storage- we highly recommend storing in the fridge or freezer.

Your body products should not melt during shipment. However, remove them promptly from your mailbox upon arrival or they may melt! Melted and refirmed products will lose none of their beneficial qualities but will firm back up with an inferior texture.

Everything we make is handcrafted in small batches. Small variations in color and appearance are part of each product’s beauty, but rest assured that quality is constant. Occasionally you will see small whitish spots on our soaps. Those are known as Stearic Spots and are due to the cold process method combined with a large amount of natural butters. They do not affect the use or quality.

Unfortunately, due to the speed at which we package and ship, we can’t add to orders that have already been placed. Please place a second order if you forgot anything!

We believe that we are called to be good stewards of all that we are given and this includes caring for animals. We only partner with suppliers where animal welfare takes precedence and none of our products are tested on animals.

When you receive your candle, cut the wick to ¼ inch before initially lighting. Trim the wick to ¼ inch after burning and when necessary.
Our candles have a gentle, prolonged burn. We are committed to using wicks that are 100% natural, carefully sourced, made in the USA and burn cleanly. -
Never leave a lit candle unattended, near drafts, children, pets, curtains, or other flammable objects.
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn time. Do not burn for more than 2 hours at a time as long wicks can become a fire hazard. -
None of our body products contain artificial preservatives. Therefore their “shelf” life is around 6 months if not stored in the fridge or freezer. When purchasing extra for longer term storage we highly recommend storing in freezer.

No! We will never radiate our products as we think the scientific evidence that “nuking” is probably harmful, is very credible!
RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
Due to the nature of our products and natural ingredients and because of hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If the product arrived damaged, or you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us. We want you to love your purchase, please email us within 15 days of purchase at speronaturalgoods@gmail.com and we will do our best to make you happy. We handle store credit/exchanges on a case-by-case basis, and your satisfaction is our ultimate goal.
