i wasn't a fan of handmade soap; the few I had tried left my skin uncomfortably dry, providing no sense of soothing or nourishment. Not realizing it was the synthetic scents and colors that were the culprit, those experiences created a good bit of skepticism about handmade soaps.

Years later, at the insistence of a friend, I created my first batch of truly natural handmade soap. Seeing the desired results created an urgency to share truly natural soap with others! With help from my children (mostly testing and encouraging:) the first major Soap line was created: Triple Butter Soaps. Milk Soaps, Tallow Soaps, then anhydrous (waterless) Body Products came along over the next few years.

Aligning with our wellness oriented lifestyle, the next several years were spent developing products that mirrored those ideals and that we would willingly use, and encourage our own family and friends to use.
